TYPES OF VlSA VIETNAM ARE ALLOWED TO RENEW

Foreigners' visas are allowed to be extended when they are valid and have temporary residence registration in Vietnam. Furthermore, the passport must be valid for at least 6 months and empty for 2 months.

VISA EXTENSION PROCESS FOR THE FOREIGNERS
Each type of Visa will have its renewal application. Alternatively, foreigners can apply for an extension from 15 days to 12 months depending on the purpose of their visa category.

Prepare application for visa extension

Tourist visa:

- Application for extension of Vietnam tourist visa (application form NA5).

- The applicant's original passport is valid for at least 6 months.

Visa visits relatives:

- The original passport is still valid
- Application for renewal (NA5) form of government where the applicant temporarily resides.
- Papers certifying the foreigner's temporary residence.
- Identity card/identity card of relative sponsoring foreigners.
- Proof of relationship between the sponsor and the visa extension applicant

Labor Visa
- NA5 form attached to a certificate of the foreigner's temporary residence in Vietnam.
- The applicant's valid original passport.
- Provide a work permit or work permit exemption as prescribed.
- Certificate of temporary residence stamped by the Police of the place where the foreigner temporarily resides.

Investment Visa
- NA5 form - Vietnam Visa extension application
- Passport is still valid as prescribed.
- Investment license is provided by an investor in Vietnam.
- Certificate of foreigner temporary residence in Vietnam.

Business Visa
- Visa extension application form NA5
- Original passport was valid for at least 6 months.
- A certificate of temporary residence issued by the local police where the foreigner temporarily resides.
